Mini-Lynx fast-start CFL The Mini-Lynx Fast-Start is a compacy Fluorescent lamp which can be used as a direct retro-fit for less efficient incandescent lamps with the advantage of an 80% energy saving. These lamps have an instant flicker free start up with no switch delay. The lamps are very small and come in a fill range of fittings to suit all purposes. They are available a variety of different Colours from Warm White to Daylight.
Low Energy CFL Spot Lamps & Fittings These lamps directly replace their low efficiency hot counterparts without the need to change fittings or add transformers giving a very easy way to achieve low energy lighting savings and reduce the temperature of the lit area. These lamps can be found in modern kitchens, bathrooms, offices, shops, etc. There are several fitting types available including GU10, small and large screw threads. One drawback is the current size of the lamp making them unsuitable for some standard fittings. Semplice Energy provides fittings made to take the extra size that can be used to directly replace your existing fittings as necessary. (The lamps in this section are not recommended for applications requiring dimming since the warranty will be voided - please see below for our dimmable lamps section.)
LED Spot Lamp Replacements & Fittings These LED driven spot lamps are direct replacements for GU10 and GX5.3 halogen spot lamps. They are shorter in length than CFL driven spot lamps allowing them to fit into smaller fittings. They use far less energy than a CFL spot lamp and energy savings of over 90% can be achieved. The drawback to these lamps is the much lower level of light generated than a CFL spot lamp. These lamps are best used to light a feature such as a picture or sign. They can also be used to provide 24 hour security lighting in corridors, etc. If you wish to light an area with these lamps you will need to install more of them to increase the light output. Semplice Energy is constantly researching for higher intensity LED spot lamps.
Megaman Dimmable CFL Lamps & Fittings The Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) has an electronic control circuit that in most cases prevents it from being dimmed. There are a few dimmable CFL's on the market and Semplice Energy provides three different fittings; GU10, Bayonet and Screw Thread. We are constantly researching to identify more low energy dimmable lamps. (These lamps retain their full warranty when dimmed.)
Low Cost Low Energy Spiral Compact Fluorescent These low cost compact fluorescent lamps are designed to directly replace standard filament light bulbs with a standard bayonet cap fitting. They can be used in most applications and come to full brightness quite quickly. Their small size and compact design allow them to be used in most fittings. Semplice Energy can provide these lamps with quite high wattage levels and therefore a very high light level can be produced. Savings of up to 80% can be obtained by switching from standard Tungsten light bulbs.
Low Energy CFL Candle Lamps Fluorescent candle bulbs are designed to replace your standard incandescent bulbs and have an average life of 8,000 hours. These lamps are designed to look like standard candle lamps and can be used in ornate fittings were the lamp itself can be seen. For example clear glass lamp shades, etc. This "pretty" CFL lamp is slow to reach full brightness and cannot be dimmed, but is a quick replacement for lamps that can be seen through their fittings. Choose the best wattage to suit your application. In order to achieve the most appropriate lighting level they are available from as low as 3 Watts up to a reasonably bright 7 Watts.
Mini Circular Fluorescent Lamps & Fittings These new fittings allow the installation of fluorescent lights with a very low footprint and excellent low energy consumption. They are popular with builders and are being installed in many new builds to light dark corners in kitchens and are commonly found under wall cabinets. They are currently only available in 7 Watt power output, but this is sufficient for under-cabinet lighting.
