Home & Office Lighting The majority of lamps fitted in the home and office are still low efficiency lamps. These lamps convert a high proportion of the electricity used to heat rather than light. Semplice Energy has a range of low energy lamps that can be applied to various lighting applications in the home, office and in industry. For domestic customers the most popular lamps we stock are the Megaman spot lamp replacements. These can be used to replace the worst of all low efficiency lamps - the halogen spot lamp.
When selecting a replacement lamp make sure you pick the correct fitting first of all. If your application includes a dimmer you need to pick a dimmable lamp or it will fail after a short time in operation (even if it appears to dim okay at first). Next select the wattage and colour - i.e. warm white, etc. Please call if you need advice.
External Lighting In sensitive operational areas, normal lights are often not bright enough. It's for situations like this that Steinel has developed the HS 502 and HS 152 XENO sensorswitched halogen floodlights. Striking design and perfected technology are the hallmarks of these floodlights. Floodlight housing, bezel and wall mount are manufactured from sturdy die-cast aluminium and are now also available in fashionable silver.

Lighting Motion Sensors Semplice Energy provides Steinel motion sensors. These are designed for reliability and utilise only high-speed surface-mount circuit boards. Each electronic component, completed circuit board, and fully assembled light is tested individually before it is allowed to leave the factory. Steinel lights work the first time, every time. Steinel motion sensor lights combine energy savings with the security benefits of bright exterior lighting. Up to 70% energy savings can be achieved by using lights only when needed.
T5 HF Adapters (NeoSave) Semplice Energy provides advice and guidance on replacing lighting for new, low energy alternatives without the need to change the whole light fitting. Our first product in this category allows a high frequency T5 lamp to be fitted within an existing light fitting for a magnetic ballast fluorescent tube. More adapters are being researched and will be added to our product range over time.
This is a cost effective way to upgrade your existing low efficiency fluorescent tubes to modern high frequency tubes. As an alternative we can also provide a lighting voltage reduction unit for use with existing low efficiency magnetic ballast fluorescent tubes (see below) that requires no changes to the existing infrastructure.
