These low energy flood lamps are designed to replace wall and pole mounted external flood lighting. They contain two standard low energy CFL lamps that produce a bright white light. The light output of the illustrated low energy CFL fitting is equivalent to 300w of an alternative light fitting such as a SON.
The energy savings from using this type of light fitting are immense compared to the general SON, Mercury Vapour and Metal Hallide discharge light fittings typically installed. Additionally, the lamps last longer and therefore reduce maintenance costs and put less harmful chemicals into the environment when disposed of.
